Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Metafide, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates meatfide.com (the "Platform"), an institutional multi-asset volatility research and analytics service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors and account holders, how we use it in operating the Platform, and the choices available to you. It applies to information collected through the Platform and through direct communications with us.
Our core service processes market data signals and delivers research analytics outputs to institutional desk subscribers. Unlike a broker-dealer or registered investment adviser, we do not manage client portfolios or hold client funds. The data we process is subscriber account information and platform usage data, not your trading book or financial positions. This distinction shapes our data practices: we are a research delivery service, and our data handling is scoped accordingly.
The Company is based at 28 Liberty Street, 42nd Floor, New York, NY 10005 and can be reached at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information you submit directly, including:
- Contact details (name, work email, phone) when you fill out an access request form, request a demo, or contact our research team;
- Professional information you choose to share (organization, role, desk type, inquiry context);
- Account credentials and profile details when you register for platform access;
- The content of any messages you send us, including research inquiries.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit meatfide.com, we automatically collect limited technical information:
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level);
- Browser type, operating system, device class;
- Pages visited, feature areas accessed, referring URLs, time on page;
- Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5 and our Cookie Policy).
We use this usage data to understand how institutional desk subscribers interact with volatility surface forecasts, sentiment signal pages, and other research views, so we can improve delivery and relevance. We do not link this data to individual trading decisions.
2.3 We Do Not Knowingly Collect Children's Data
meatfide.com is not directed to children under 13. The Platform is designed exclusively for institutional and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
3. How We Use Information
Metafide uses the information we collect to:
- Evaluate and process platform access requests, and provision subscriber accounts;
- Deliver daily volatility surface forecasts, sentiment signal data, and cross-asset correlation research to authorized subscribers;
- Respond to research inquiries, demo requests, and support questions;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and its research outputs;
- Send service updates, delivery notifications, and (with your consent where required) research digest communications;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access or abuse;
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use subscriber account or usage data to train third-party machine learning models without explicit written consent. We do not sell personal information for monetary value. Where applicable state law treats certain advertising arrangements as a "sale" or "share," see your state's section below.
4. Sharing of Information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and platform analytics) under contractual confidentiality terms that restrict their use of the data;
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property;
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share subscriber account information with any entity that uses it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, maintain authenticated sessions, remember preferences, and measure usage patterns. For full details and your choices, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal or accounting obligations, and to resolve any disputes. Subscriber account records are retained for the duration of the subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter for billing and compliance purposes. Inactive access-request contacts who do not become subscribers are purged from marketing lists after 24 months. Server access logs are retained 90 days, then aggregated and de-identified.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, restricted-access databases, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your General Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and the ability to limit certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. New York Residents
New York does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute. As a matter of policy, we extend the following baseline rights to all U.S. residents regardless of state of residence.

9.3 Sector-Specific Rights
If you are protected by federal sector laws (such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act or other applicable federal statutes), those laws may give you additional rights with respect to data covered by them. Metafide is not a covered entity under HIPAA, a registered investment adviser, or a broker-dealer. Our data practices are governed by general commercial data privacy principles and the obligations described in this Policy.
